Senara Watt has won her way through three hard fought games to be declared BCM Women's Open Singles winner for 2024.

Edging out Tia Moka in the first round yesterday (21-19) Senara then defeated Lynda Stabler (21-13) for the right to take on Adrienne Tilyard in the final.

Adrienne had managed a 1 shot win over Leeane Poulson so a great game for the final was in prospect. And what a final it turned out to be.

After 22 ends Senara had edged out to a 17-13 lead and then Adrienne clawed back 2 shots while conceding 1.

So it was 18-15 going into the 26th end with Adrienne holding 1 shot with Senara having the final bowl.

Her final weighted shot dislodged the shot bowl and gave Senara the three she needed for the win.

Well done to both ladies for providing us with a great game and congratulations to Senara for her win.
