Congratulations to Leeane Poulson on winning the Centre women’s champ of champ final defeating Fran Reihana from Homai in the final

Both Leeane and Fran had played beautiful bowls throughout the tournament and deserved their place in the final.

In the first of the women’s semis Leeane played Senara Watt winning 21-4 and the in the second semi-final Fran Reihana played Adrienne Tilyard with Fran coming through 21-7.

The men’s final is still pending but Mike Cavanagh from Pukekohe has booked a place in the final after three good wins, winning the quarter 21-14 against Ron Carlyle from Hunua and the semi against Jim Ballard 21- 4.

On the other side of the draw, it wasn’t so clear cut with Roger Andrew and Frankie Lim games needing to be replayed with Roger defeating Frankie in the replay. Unfortunately final results are still pending.
