Congratulations Leeane and Dave

Congratulations to Leeane Poulson and Dave Clark for reaching the semi-finals of the National Champion of Champions Singles event held over the weekend in Hastings.

Dave lost his sem-fimal, after a great comeback, by 20-21. The damage was done by the last bowl of the match. His opponent in the semi-final, Dean McMurchy, went on to win the Champion of Champions title.

Leeane lost her semi-final to the eventual winner of the ladies title Tanya Wheeler.

It was really great to watch these two Counties Manukau players doing so well at a national event.
