Sally Engi- a Pukekohe Bowls Cosmopolitan member, who has been seen lately practicing on the greens- proved that constant practice does bring results.

Last week- the NZ Para bowls were hosted at the Waverley Bowling Club in Invercargill.

38 participants competed in the singles and drawn pairs format.

Riley Paterson and Sally were drawn in the pairs, this appeared from the start to be a strong combination recording 3 close wins- then progressing to taking the Gold Medal in the final-against Peter Horne and Arthur Brodie 15-7.

Congratulations to you both - (edited from the NZ Bowls site)
