Congratulations to the Manurewa Men's Triples team

Well done to our Manurewa Triples team of- Dave Clark, Roger Andrew and Gary Coppins, for making the quarter finals of the Bowls NZ Champion of Champions.

They won 17-8 against Kapiti Coast, then went on to win against Thames Valley, (18-7) had a loss to Manawatu (9-16) and their 3rd win (one of only 6 teams to get 3 wins)- against Northland (18-6). They then lost in the quarter final - 19-7 to the Dunedin team, who won their next game and were runners up in the final - with the Auckland team (Royal Oak) winning the overall title.

Also good bowling from the Ladies- Buckland -(Diane Main, Lynette Raynor and Liz Prattley) who won their first game against 12-10 against a team from Wanganui. But were unable to win their other games to qualify.

Next week it is the Four's to be held at the Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club- do come along and support our Manurewa team in the Mens section and Pukekohe team in the Ladies section.
