EVENTS UPDATE 9th September

Bowls Counties Manukau Programme Events Update:

To all members:

Thank you for your emails and enquiries to us asking if our events are still going ahead. As you may be aware, we have cancelled our Executive 4’s event and postponed the 2-4-2 Mixed Pairs event.

With the current Covid 19 Level 4 lockdown restrictions in place, the printing of the Centre handbook has been delayed. To keep members informed, we have published the BCM programme on the BCM website and the new Events Entry Procedure, to enter Centre events, can be found on the website under the “News Update” section.

We are constantly monitoring the current Covid 19 level situation and we will let members know, through the BCM website, of any programme changes/reschedules/postponements that are made. Notices will also be sent to Club Secretaries.

The Board, in considering the current Covid 19 level restrictions and the Bowls NZ Covid Level Guidelines, have decided that our Centre programme will resume when we are in a Level 1 environment, so we are just waiting to hear more of when that will occur.

My suggestion is that all members regularly view the BCM website as any updates will most likely be published there first.

It should also be noted that Clubs will need to decide for themselves how best to apply the current Covid 19 level restrictions and Bowls NZ guidelines in terms of their club programme and operations.
