Manurewa Cosmopolitan Bowling Club Men’s Team win the National Champion of Champions Fours.

The team comprising David Clark at Skip, Shane Drabble at 3 , Bryn Morgan at 2 with Logan Clark leading had an unbeaten run at the Nationals on the weekend of July 21-23.

Winning their 2 games on Friday at Royal Oak and their 2 games at Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club on Saturday they started the Post Section play on Sunday as top qualifiers.

The new covered artificial rink at Royal Oak proved a happy hunting ground for the team as they cruised into the final against a strong team from Elmwood Park (Christchurch) skipped by Gary Lawson.

While they found the rink not quite to their liking and being down 10-6 after 11 ends they steadied the ship and managed 9 unanswered points to win 15-10.
