A wonderful weekend for Counties Junior Women. All 4 teams finished in the top 10 of 23 teams. Sally Yoakley, Eileen Shore and Christine Black were runners up. An excellent result. Kathy Lister, Alice Reidel and Liz Whiteway were 5th, Christine Mason, Marilyn McCormick and Karine Moka were 6th and Wendy Shaddick, Shirley Hodge and Lavinia Mitchell were 9th. On the Sunday, none of the teams lost a game. This augurs well for the future of women’s bowls in Counties.
